Welcome to the MIT Clean Energy Entrepreneurship Prize Competition Website!
The MIT $100K Business Plan Competition and the MIT Entrepreneurship Center have joined forces to provide the premier Clean Energy Competition in the US. To learn more about the process click here (link to background). The competition will turbo-charge the next generation of energy entrepreneurs to help solve the world's energy problem.
The MIT CEEP is a $200,000 Grand Prize to awarded on May 13, 2008 NStar and the US Department of Energy to the overall winner of the competition. Secondary prizes of at least $20K Cash each will also be awarded. The prizes will be determined by an esteemed panel of judges.
The competition will take place on the campus of MIT and entries are due on February 28, 2008. Both student and professional start-up teams are eligible to enter. The process will be rigorous and intesive, but all teams will be provided with opportunities to develop skills, receive mentoring, learn, expand their networks, and be provided with exposure.
