Q: What happened to the team building forum
A: Due to spamming and inappropriate postings, the forum has been closed. Additional teambuilding forums are available on Facebook and Linked-in. Please check the Resources tab for more information.
Q: I have a team and want to enter the competition, where do I sign-up?
A: All teams must enter online at mitceep.com. Entries will be accepted from January 15-February 28, 2008. The Entry platform is available on the web
Q: Will MIT retain any rights to our intellectual property?
A: Maybe- MIT CEEP is not in the business of making money or owning the rights to others' inventions. The competition will not secure the rights to any of your IP as a result of competiitng. That being said, If your product is produced in MIT labs it may be subject to MIT property rights. Please visit the technology licensing office for more information. However, if you own your IP and it was not cultivated in MIT labs, then you will retain all of your IP rights.
Q: I am in high school, can I participate?
A: Yes - Anyone can participate in the competition. However everyone must be on a team. If you enter it is likely that you will be on a student team. At least one other member must be a student at a US university. If you can find a professional team to hire you as a founding member, you could participate that way as well.
Q: I am from a student in a foreign country and I have a great technology, can I participate?
