The process will result in three award types

MIT Clean Energy Entrepreneurship Prize

$200,000 in cash awarded to the best overall team

MIT $100K Energy Award

$20,000 in cash plus thousands more in in-kind sponsorships to the best MIT Student Team

Community Award 

$20,000 in cash and thousands more in in-kind sponsorship to the best Student Team or Professional Team

The winner of the MIT CEEP is not eligible for either the MIT $100K Energy Award or the Outside Team Award. The winner of the MIT $100K Energy Award is not eligible for the Community Award or vice versa.
